Certainly a pleasant luncheon dining experience. Excellent warm service throughout the lunch. Prices are a tad high, especially considering portion size. My salmon entree, $35; Octopus, $20; shrimp sandwich, $21; Burger, $20.
The ambiance to this restaurant was cute and cozy more like classy wine dine feel! The service was absolutely amazing from the servers to the chef! I loved the presentation of the entree, and I loved that every waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food was tasted delicious and I liked that their vegetables were from a local farmer market (real ingredients). My all time fave were the carpaccio/ sliced fish there were two dishes that we had ordered. I believe my fave dish was the carpaccio that had a tangy taste with candied nuts! Ps. The butter bread was sooo good!
Delicious Sunday brunch it's my second time going here in the last two months. It's a favorite of mine when I visit my parents in La Jolla. We went during the weekday and just got eggs Benedict the first time. Still good! But the Sunday brunch has a great menu worth going to ! Will be back next time I'm in San Diego !
What a beautiful hotel restaurant. I failed to take pics of the place but trust me it's gorgeous. I had lunch on the sidewalk people watching the tourists is always fun. The service was great and attentive. The food was amazing! We split a burger and Reuben. I'm pretty sure they are known for the wonderful and juicy burger and it didn't disappoint, so good! The Reuben was so much better than I thought it would be the bread the housemade pastrami were outstanding. I would go back for that amazing sandwich any day. The star for me was the mussels toast. It sounded different and a bit weird on the menu but that's why I ordered it. It was such a creative take on the "toast" at other places. The mussels were fresh, the fennel was crisp and it had a slight kick of spice from the Calabrian chilis. It was so inventive I was my favorite part. Loved it all highly recommend. Have lunch and take walk to shop in beautiful La Jolla.
Nine-Ten kept showing up on must try lists for San Diego and it did not disappoint. Beautiful restaurant on the ground floor of a hotel. Impeccable service. We started off with the house made Parker rolls and the Jamaican jerk pork belly. The pork belly lived up to the hype for sure. I ordered the grilled half jerk chicken for my entree. The chicken was moist and delicious. I understand why it has a Michelin guide distinction.
Went here last night and the experience was great service was great food was great. It was my cousin's birthday and so his wife set up reservation, I started off with a jerk pork belly and a everything nice cocktail which both were delicious and a great start to dinner. My cousin ordered a Brooklyn bridge and felt it was a too strong I tasted it and agreed. For my entree I ordered another starter which was the cacio e pepe with mushrooms it was Devine a nice portion size for a starter I wish they would make an entre version so I could have a little more. My wife ordered a ribeye and she let me taste it was delicious as well, the wait staff was very attentive, when desert came around I had some of my wife's chocolate cake and I ordered the apple french toast both came ala mode and were great. All in all a great experience , there was one last drink that my wife ordered the cactus cooler it's non alcoholic, it's not good it has a medicine halls take to it was not a fan but you might be so give this place a try and see what you think.
First dinner visit to Nine-Ten. We needed a La Jolla restaurant that allowed our dog to join with us and Nine-Ten fit our need. We were seated on the heated patio with our dog. Five stars for our knowledgeable and helpful server Chris, as well as the delicious Grilled Prime Ribeye (amazing topping mix). We started with the house made Parker Rolls and Roasted Pear Salad (small but complex and flavorful).
What a great experience and food. The service was really friendly and helpful. All of the suggestions were right on point. It started with the bartenders whim cocktail, which was a painkiller that night. Then I went with the recommendation for the striped bass and was rewarded with a beautifully cooked and flavorful dish. The pork belly also lived up to its reputation and was really good.
